The conference entitled "Asbestos in biological matrices of asbestos related diseases" will take place in Florence on 19 February.
The conference, organized by the Institute for the Study and Prevention of Cancer (ISPO) in collaboration with the working Biofibre group (with the participation of some pertaining to the Scansetti Center) that deals with the subject for years and that, under the patronage of Ministry of Health, is preparing appropriate guidelines for biological monitoring of asbestos.
The event aims to present the techniques of sampling and analysis of the content of liquids and biological tissues of subjects exposed to airborne dusts and in particular to asbestos fibers.
Additional interventions through poster presentations are welcome.
